Key contributor for Security Operation Centre (SoC) related matters in Asia, supporting security operations, i.e. security alerts monitoring and handling, security controls and overall governance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global and regional groups to highlight communicate and mitigate risk
• Identify detection techniques, propose and implement solutions to cover identified needs
• Documentation of monitoring/response processes
• Perform Asia-specific phishing campaigns and respond to security events/incidents
• Involved in regulatory engagements (questionnaires, responses to regulatory circulars and advisories, etc), security investigations and escalations
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirements, technology advances and identify trends, potential new technologies, and emerging threats, to lead remediation projects driven by Information Security Asia (MAS, HKMA)
• Review and coordinate changes to information security policies and procedures
• Support delivery of Information Security education and awareness to staff and junior members on SoC operations knowledge
• Assist in audits, management reporting, and adhoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder in IT Security, Computer Science/ Computer engineering with experience in Wealth Management information security
• Working knowledge of Information Security, IT Risks and Controls, technology risk management and related security technologies
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in both Singapore and Hong Kong
• Professional certification in Information Security (e.g. CISSP, CISM and CISA) and knowledge of security and control frameworks e.g. ISO27001  is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, communication & interpersonal skills
