On behalf of our Client who is a government agency in the Intellectual Property platform, we are sourcing for a functional Systems Professional to oversee the enhancement and maintenance of the critical Intellectual Property transaction and processing system for the organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and implement new or refined digital capabilities for the Registries’ Intellectual Property transaction and processing system (“online IP platform”);
- Work with cross functional team to understand internal and external stakeholders’ needs and leverage on data and technology to meet those needs optimally in the online IP platform; and
- Establish and maintain positive engagement with stakeholders to drive change.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of work experience
- Degree preferably in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering or equivalent
- Experience or knowledge in the following areas is a plus: data processing (using Python, Excel VBA and/or SQL), API, AI/machine learning, natural language processing or knowledge-based systems, network/system architecture, or database/application design or solutioning
- Excellent Project management skills, with experience in collaborating with different business and technical stakeholders
- Experience in systems thinking, process mapping, business operational improvements and user experience improvements
- Keen interest in technologies and standards for enhancing business operational efficiency and user experience
- Excellent written, analytical and planning skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to multi-task
- Able to work well independently and within a team
