Description:
Our client is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced mask blanks for semiconductor manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for initiating and completing technical activities leading to new or improved polishing processes, for current and next customers' KPI requirements, and meeting strategic goals and objectives of the company.
- Responsible for improving yield and maximizing capacity for current and new equipment to meet next process supply and overall production flow productivity efficiently.
- Oversees the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products.
- Own and manage polishing process during process sustainment, ensure all polishing machines consistently perform according to requirements, and recommend repairs, upgrades, or modifications.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on processes, product failures/defectivity, or customer claims and implement effective corrective/preventive actions; Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems and ensure machine/equipment uptime.
- Collect data, analyze, and compile summary reports on a complex process issues or experiments
- Create and upgrade equipment or process standard operating procedures to be used by manufacturing technicians
- Participate in and /or lead qualification and validation activities.
- Partner and collaborate with the Engineering team on the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Prepares reports (Bi-weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly) to report status, results, and progress of CIP projects for top management during Technical / Development / Management Meeting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering or in related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry or clean room environment.
- Experience in the polishing process with knowledge of CMP / Cleaning is an advantage.
- Specialized skills: SPC, DOE, Process & Equipment FMEA, effective troubleshooting techniques.
- Independent and have excellent verbal also written communications skills with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.
