Our client is a Global Shipping Group with more than 150 years of Maritime experience. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Data Analyst (Dry Bulk)”.

This role will primarily be tasked with the following responsibilities :

• Development and maintenance of various analytical models relating to freight and commodities
• Identify maritime and/or commodity data sources to bolster the Group’s database
• Developing an in-house screen to facilitate real-time information exchange within the Company’s Group
• Provide the broker(s) & clients with up-to-date data/information on Freight & Commodity market(s)
• Involved & support team members in preparing presentations, delivered to key clients / management
• Developed and maintained the company’s Drybulk Monthly Newsletter with a detailed approach
• Work effectively with the Research Team across different offices to meet deliverables

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Business Analytics/ Maritime Business or related Discipline
• Fresh graduate(s) are strongly encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / BI- based business tools needed.
• Python / SQL will be advantageous
• Knowledge of the freight and commodity sectors useful
• Ability to work effectively with management and colleagues across various offices to meet targets in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Self-starter, team player with very good time management and quality control skills
