Responsibilities

• Receive, collect and sort sample
• Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing quality checks in a timely manner
• Document all test results accurately and report deviations
• Investigate anomalies
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedure and follow all Quality Control plans
• Maintain, calibrate, validate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Participate, if any, in inspection of installations
• Manage stocks and orders
• Follow up on audit findings
• Upkeep laboratory standards and participate in laboratory improvement initiatives
• Take part in shift handover meetings
• Partake in all HSEQ activities
• Enforce waste management
• Monitor and minimise the environmental impact and energy consumption of laboratory activities
• Participate in risk studies
• Incorporate and apply HSEQ corrective actions
• Comply to HSEQ policies at all times

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Material Science or Chemistry or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably from chemicals/ petrochemicals industry
• Able to work 12 hours shift Day/ Night
• Shift Allowance (Fixed + Night) + Site allowance + Transport allowance provided
