Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime.
Resolving equipment issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Execute new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hook-up, vendor start-up, to acceptance of equipment for production.
Coordinate with process, integration and manufacturing engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives.
Review, validate and analyze reports on all shift related activities.
Provide leadership in giving direction and systematic guidance to Equipment Engineer / Associate Engineer (ensure staff's on-time submission of checklist within shift).
Establish and implement all Equipment specification, troubleshooting procedures, safety related documents and ensure compliance with corporate requirements and procedures.
Liaise with equipment vendors and spare parts suppliers continuously to develop new methods to achieve low cost maintenance system.
To initiate and carry out yield improvement, cost reduction, 2nd source verification and cycle time reduction projects.
Participate in the Equipment Improvement Projects.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
Broad spectrum exposure to different tool types in semiconductor (Lithography, Etch, PVD/CVD, Metro).
Knowledge in SPC, FMEA, 8D analysis, 5WHY.
Team player with positive attitude, willing to learn, and independent worker.
