Responsibilities
- Support for the Operational readiness of the new plant (including walkdowns & punch listing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, preparing SOPs & routine schedules etc.).
- Planning and Execution of all Equipment (Static) Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance.
- Planning, execution and monitoring of contractor routine and non-routine maintenance activities and perform troubleshooting or provide guidance where issues arise.
- Planning and coordination of shutdown maintenance activities of Static Equipment based on local and Global PM requirements, Vendor recommendation & Industrial Best practices.
- Review risk analysis and maintenance procedures on regular basis.
- Upkeep maintenance records for equipment modifications, repair and re rating on regular basis.
- Identify and update discrepancies in plant equipment records or on field.
- Participate in the root cause analysis (RCA) on process incidents and process inducted mechanical failures, recommend corrective actions to permanently eliminate them and follow up on closure of the actions.
- Initiate the Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) and execute the changes for plant improvement and modification works.
- Facing External / Internal Audit and closing of the actions within given time limit.
- Identifying bad actors in the plant and reliability improvement by implementing short term and long term solutions.
- Review all documents available in GDMS and work with LE to prepare equipment BOM and upload into SAP system.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years’ of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical industry or Diploma holder with 10 years’ maintenance experience Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry is preferred.
- Experience in a Gas Plant such as Gasification/SMR/ASU is an advantage.
- Good conceptual knowledge on design and maintenance of static equipment ie. Boilers, pressure vessels, pipes, tanks, valves, safety valves, Heat exchangers, Columns etc.
- Good conceptual knowledge of Industrial standards such as API, ASME etc for Static Equipment.
