Responsibilities:

• Responsible for customized design, implementation, and verification of hardware and/or firmware of microscopy products.
• Involve in design review of the products.
• Improving the electronics development process.
• Liaise with supplier and operation for design improvement and support design qualification process. 
• Develop and deliver electronics hardware according to the project requirements.
• Responsible for project deployment into production and support activities.
• Help and support electronics components / systems procurement.
• Review & revise if applicable the primary documentation of electronics components and systems.
• Participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

• Master's or Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
• With 3-4 years of experience in an R&D experience in Imaging, Optics, Electronics, Mechanics.
• Knowledge and experience in the hardware/firmware design for digital imaging systems or precision motor control.
• Proficiency in electronic CAD system, such as PADS and Altium.
• Proficient with software development using C/C++.
• Able to perform EMC troubleshooting and countermeasure. 
• Knowledge of FMEA and other Total Quality Management (TQM) tools – i.e. Risk analysis
• Systematic in problem-solving approach and creative thinker.
