Plan and organizes manpower and equipment to maximize productivity to meet production targets, included redeployment and OT management.
Lead the team and work closely with supporting departments to meet production KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity), including Absorption, DM of SQDIP, and Build Plan at Gemba.
Understand thoroughly new and existing product functions, applications & usage, especially high-precision and critical components.
NPI Early Involvement (Proactively Preparing Production Resources for NPI, actively involved in reviewing NPI Design for Manufacturability.)
Improve Feeder Cells Standard Works on build sequence & WIP design to support MD Integration build plan.
Maintain and induct production equipment and tools calibration.
Ensures Good documentation (e.g., DHR as per ISO13485) is followed within the production.
Drive work area 5S & EHS.
Review build a plan to make a decision on resource deployment, inventory requirements, and work closely with Planner to meet the sale orders OTD.
Induct new hire and conducts performance appraisal for employees and is responsible for making decision on termination, promotion, upgrading etc.
Requirements:
Minimal Degree holder in any Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Power BI).
Preferably with Lean Manufacturing experience in a low-volume high mixed environment.
Analytical thinker, proactive and flexible in candidate approach to work.
Good Knowledge in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and experience in using Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
