On their behalf of our Client who is in the automobile industry, we are sourcing for a techno-functional SAP ABAP Consultant to support in-house SAP systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse, trouble shoot and resolve SAP system issues.  Recommend enhancement and work around solutions (if any)
• Monitor, fix and maintain interfaces, idocs and batch jobs
• Handle Change Requests and Service requests with ABAP development
• Maintain ABAP queries
• Acts as liaison with overseas divisions in Germany HQ office to expedite issues and requests.
• Review and provide approval for CMA transports to the productive system
• User and Role administration
• Perform quarterly user authorization audit ensuring all is compliant to VWAG regulations
• Support importers on their SAPGUI installation, RVS XP installations and connection issues
• Attend to ad-hoc user requests on uploading or mass maintenance of master data, prices, exclusions and blocking/unblocking
• Involve in yearly Buffer Release activity to review, provide approval for transport and system check after Go-Live
• Perform yearly cut-over tasks (authorization checks, number range, factory calendars, MM and FI periods)
• Coordinate and support on system maintenance/upgrade activities
• Maintain SAP documentations
• Participate in Projects for SAP system rollout, upgrade, and integrations to other systems

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Strong SAP development experience in ABAP, testing and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and in English
• At least 4 years’ experience in functional business analysis in SAP environment with 2 full SAP project implementations
• Chinese speaking is necessary to handle the Taiwan market
