Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a well experienced shipping professional to join them as "Senior Manager/Manager (Container Control/M&R)".

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

• Track and analyse Equipment (container) Idle/Turnaround/Repair Time and implement/enforce measures for improvement
• Initiate & execute equipment (container) re-positioning to move containers from surplus to deficit locations
• Scrutinize and follow up on Depot Contract pertaining to commercial and operational terms and conditions
• Implement control measures to ensure Depot following ‘First In First Out’ methodology
• Oversee Inventory Team on M&R activities
• Scrutinise and deduce unnecessary cost relating to Equipment e.g. Repair, Storage etc

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Business or Maritime related Discipline with 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in equipment management in a shipping or container leasing setup
• Possess knowledge of Container Maintenance & Repair
• Reefer Container handling and machinery repair experience
• Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
• Familiar with Power BI to generate report
