Job Description:

1. Purchasing & Inventory Planning (50%)

·       Establish contingency supply for Core Skus as assigned by Manager, review contingency plans from time to time to ensure supply lines are still valid and available

·       Responsible for inventory replenishment of assigned categories; prepare and process purchase order, track order status and update relevant parties in a timely manner

·       Responsible for maintaining monthly inventory in line with required safety stock levels

·       Ensure ordering and invoicing approvals of core and promotional supply comply with Group compliance requirements

·       Support as SCM interface in ‘A team’, providing timely updates and support across promotional supply sourcing, ordering, replenishments, tracking and write-off

·       Act as first Escalation point for emerging or sudden supply disruption to stores or DC

·       Provide administrative support for all purchasing-related matters

 

2. Procurement & Supplier Management (25%)

·       Lead tenders, support negotiations and final awards as assigned

·       Provide analytical support in preparation of regional / Group tenders

·       Support Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, preparing relevant data or reports for supplier business reviews

·       Collaborate with Manager, QA team and Supplier to ensure supplier compliance to Yum and Group requirements, prior to new supply, tender awards or contract renewals

·       Manage sourcing, update of product information and coordination of samples for product demos/trial

 

3. Leadership & Development (15%)

·       Support department in annual company budget planning and delivering annual objectives

·       Partner with Manager to develop & implement initiatives to improve company profitability and department productivity

·       Analyse SCM reports periodically, to investigate discrepancies and/or recommend and deliver cost and process improvement opportunities

 

4. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by reporting manager (10%)

 

Requirement:

·       5 Year Working Experience in Planning and Inventory Management, Preferably in Food Industry

·       Minimum Diploma 

·       Good knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft office – Words, Excel, PowerPoint

·       Working knowledge of ERP, IMS and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau

Additional information:

·       Working days: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

·       Salary up to $4500

·       Located in Tai Seng
