Responsibilities

• Vet through Letter of Offers to ensure compliance against credit proposal and lending guidelines. 
• Review and approve loan releases, and loan correspondences pertaining to Block Discounting & Hire Purchase for passenger car/commercial vehicle/equipment.
• Ensure outstanding documents/issues are resolved prior/after disbursement.
• Check vessel loan legal/security documents, and liaise with solicitors on legal matters pertaining to vessel documentation.
• Check vessel loan client & loan input, and overrides loan transactions in core system.
• Monitor & ensure timely renewal of vessel classification certs. 
• Review redemption statement computation.
• Perform check on the safekeeping of completed security documents for property & vessel loans.
• Perform supervisory function and to cover duties of section lead and juniors in his/her absence.
• Support the Head, Loans Administration in the day-to-day operational requirements and to assist in her absence.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Banking / Economics / Business Management
• At least 5 years of experience in handling loan e.g. Block Discounting & Hire Purchase
• Prior experience in handling loans related documentation, preferably in banking industry
• Excellent communication skills
