Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of finance operations in the company.
• Prepare monthly group consolidation management report to Parent Company (Japan)
• Prepare and submit quarterly Consolidated Budget vs Actual Profit & Loss report to parent company.
• Provide support to Finance personnel in two subsidiaries in term of Finance Operation matters
• Cultivating constant feedback from finance staff to improve any inefficiency process eg streamline manual process
• Review quarterly GST submission
• Prepare yearly Japan Consumption Tax Report.
• Review and ensure foreign source payment that are subjected to withholding tax comply to Section 45 – Withholding Tax
• Response any local taxation matters by IRAS and any tax queries from parent company
• Review corporate tax computation provided by tax agent
• Compute Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI)
• Advise Management on any potential tax implication to business transactions
• Person in charge of financial audit
• Draft Financial Statements & Notes to auditor
• Review audited Financial Statements
• Cash flow planning/projection
• Fixed deposit placement
• Forex hedging
• Prepare & submit Bankers’ Guarantee
• Sending Statement of Accounts (SOA) and follow-up for payment
• Provide details credit review for screening the financial status of new customers
• Liaise with external / internal auditor to ensure compliance
• Liaise with Banker on cash management matters
• Liaise with Company Secretary to ensure compliance to ACRA requirements
• Troubleshooting and liaising with SAP team on any operation and finance issues
• Constantly reviewing manual workflow to be replaced by SAP to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/ Finance or ACCA or other disciplines
• Chartered Accountant qualification is a must
• Understanding of incoterm will be a plus
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or related professional services organization.
