Job Descriptions:
• To install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• To monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• To provide helpdesk support or desk side support to employees
• To troubleshoot system and network problems to diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
• To coordinate with external vendors to replace computer parts as and when required
• To follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• To support the roll-out of new applications
• To set up new users’ accounts and profiles which include dealing with password issues
• To respond within agreed time limits to attend call-outs from employees
• To work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to 3rd parties, if appropriate)
• To prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
• To assist in evaluation of notebooks/PCs/tablets/PDAs and backup management
• To coordinate the layout of network and telephone cables
• To help in IT-related operations upon instruction from superior
• To support administrative duties as and when assigned

Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as IT support
• Able to work well in a team and perform efficiently
• Able to carry out allocated duties accurately without supervision
• Possess willingness to learn new knowledge and skills
• Able to perform overtime as and when necessary
• Possess good communication skills to deal with all levels of management staff
• Basic programming knowledge is essential
• Have a great sense of urgency and able to multi-task
