Responsibilities

• Studies customer's enquiry and clearly understand the technical specifications and scope of quotation for Qualified Projects for AP Strategic Quote involvement.
• Clarifies and finalizes with Sales on customer's bid evaluation criteria and align with all Stakeholders on PRM's winning strategy.
• Reviews PRV's product portfolio, not limited to datasheet specification and selects the most suitable products to meet the winning strategy.
• Provides alternative suggestions or deviations, where possible to improve competitiveness of the offer and work with Sales to negotiate acceptance by the customer.
• Evaluates bought out products to improve winning chances where needed but control the scope to a limited percentage. Bought out items to form a minority portion of the total product package offered.
• Collaborates with Factory Engineering to address project specific special requirements where applicable. Maintains records of new specials solutions for world area facilities.
• Works with Project Management and Commercial Compliance team to ensure all required commercial, quality and project documents are complete.
• Finalizes product selection and technical bid proposal complete with List Price for all items and forward to the Sales office for final bid submission to include other aspects of bid proposal including terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering with at least 8 years of experience in the process control industry.
• Well verse with Valves products range and knowledge. Experience with Pressure Relief Valves will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Industry codes and standards (ASME, API, NACE, AS, TS etc).          
• Strong analytical and questioning skills coupled with ability to develop and implement strategies.
• Good commercial/business knowledge.
