On behalf of our client in the IT Delivery Services, we are sourcing for Linux System Administrator to provide reactive support for BF and OS patching in a Linux environment.

 

  Job Scope:

·       To provide reactive system support for BF and OS patching

·       Supports requests from the users and solve any problems related with the Linux servers

·       Involved in setting up and configuring new systems, installing and maintaining the application software and coordinating with relevant teams

·       Updated with the current knowledge in Linux system and are responsible for evaluating the hardware and software technologies

·       Strong analyzing skill troubleshooting issues that hamper the performance of the system

·       Monitoring and overseeing the system health, daily backups, Anti-virus solution, etc.

 

Job Requirements

·       Diploma or Degree in Information Technologies, Information Systems or relevant

·       At least 5 years of strong Linux Administration experience

·       MUST HAVE knowledge of and experience in Suse OS and Dell hardware, Mellanox switch and Dell switch

·       Support experience in a banking environment is highly preferred

Additional Job Information

·       Yearly contract renewable (with contract completion bonus)

·       Working hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
