What the role is:

The Innovation and Foundational Competencies (IFC) team develops capabilities in the Public Service in the areas of innovation, human-centered design, process improvement, career development, personal excellence, and personal communications. This is done through our suite of programmes and consultancy services.

What you will be working on:

  • Conceptualize and deliver virtual, blended and classroom learning interventions (e.g., identifying learning needs, design curriculum, develop learning resources/materials and monitor/evaluate impact of learning interventions etc.)
  • Project manage the development of programmes and other workstreams, including managing stakeholders, business processes, budget and timelines to support the effective delivery of learning interventions.
  • Work with subject matter experts and trainers to shape the course content, curriculum and learning outcomes.
  • Partner public agencies to develop and customize L&D interventions to support their developmental plans.
  • Design and organize seminars, webinars and communities of practice on trending topics related to the domain.
  • Contribute to market intelligence gathering and research in L&D to keep learning interventions abreast of future trends and development
  • Lead/contribute to consultancy projects (includes L&D, human-centered design, process improvement projects) with public agencies to support their transformation efforts.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant working experience in learning and development with knowledge and interest in areas such as innovation, human-centered design, process improvement, career development, personal excellence, or personal communications.
  • Experience in facilitation, design of learning interventions/programmes of different modalities (e.g. face-to-face, virtual, blended).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, project management and communication skills.
  • Inquisitive, self-motivated, proactive, meticulous, and resourceful.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-changing work environment.
  • Possess professionalism and confidence in dealing with people at all levels, especially with stakeholders in our lead agencies.
