Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to understand the mandatory learning requirements, working with business to agree the prioritization and how the learning will be implemented with resource/budget available.
- Managing and executing all aspects of training, including communication and administrative tasks.
- Oversee the required mandatory training programs ensuring they remain aligned to appropriate standards.
- Monitoring and evaluating training programs to continuously improve their effectiveness.
- Manage the relationship with external training professionals brought in to develop and deliver training solutions.
- Promote and advocate learning opportunities, across group audiences.
Requirements:
- 3 years+ working experience in a similar role (training or L&D).
- Experience in competence frameworks and assessments.
- Experience in EU funding for training considered an asset.
- Experience in working in a manufacturing and unionized working environment (asset).
- Experience in using HR/training software and O365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps, etc.).
- Strong understanding of adult instructional design, training methodologies, learning theory and principles.
- Be people-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver effective training sessions.
- Mandatory language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
