Job Responsibilities:

Application and enhancement design and implementation:

• To design and implement improvements to business processes that are enabled through technology.
• To discover, elicit and analyze requirements.
• To work with local and foreign IT teams to drive projects.
• To manage and drive deliverables.
• To coordinate SIT and UAT testing before implementation.
• To coordinate or conduct user training.
• To document application and data design.
• To document user guides and system manuals.

Application support and maintenance:

• To plan and implement technology upgrades to ensure system operates on supported components.
• To plan and design application and data capacity growth.
• To maintain and support the system to maximize system availability and fit for purpose.
• To test and refine disaster recovery plans to achieve RPO and RTO.
• To design and operate applications that are compliant with group level IT policies in terms of governance, cyber security, and operational requirements.
• To maintain system architecture diagram, technical and functional design, operations manual and other operational support documentation.
• To rectify defects and implement timely workarounds.

Job Requirements:

• A diploma in computer science, information systems or equivalent
• At least 2 years working experience in IT development, application support or project delivery.
• Experience in at least 1 software development life cycle is essential.
• Experience in stakeholder management and fronting the users is essential.
• Experience in application maintenance and support is essential.
• Experience in any 3 of the following programming languages:
• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Backend: Python, PHP, AngularJS
• SQL & Database: MSSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
