Our client is a reputable Shipping MNC. In view of expansion, they are currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Asst Manager (Global Container Terminal Investment & Business Development)(Financial Modelling /M & A Experience required)".

In this role, your responsibilities are (but not limited to):

• Initiate feasibility studies for investments or long-term partnerships with operators
• Review current portfolio of terminals to determine consolidation and/or divestment opportunities
• Drive the end-to-end deal execution process (financial modelling, risk assessments, valuation, due diligence, structuring and closing)
• Prepare expression of interest and bid documents where appropriate
• Act as PMO, lead and coordinate in discussions involving teams from regional organization , corporate shared services (Legal, Finance, Tax, etc.) and external consultants
• Develop business plan and financial models for investment/divestment projects
• Draft and review documents such as joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements service agreements and others
• Perform due diligence to confirm validity of information obtained from potential partners or acquisition targets
   

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or relevant disciplines
• Candidates with CFA or in the process of pursuing CFA preferred
• At least 4 to 7 years of experience in investments analysis and financial statements
• Good experience in finance modelling with strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of structure of contracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Independent and thrive under pressure and tight timelines
