Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Asst Manager / Senior Executive (Communications)(Shipping)".
In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :
- Develop and implement an effective communications strategy for its company’s target audience at a global/regional level.
- Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, and other brand material that communicates regional activities, products and/or services.
- Proficiency in design and publishing software.
- Seek opportunities to enhance corporate’s brand reputation, and coordinate internally to support regional countries’ events where required.
- Establish contacts with local free media platforms through given reigional country communication Leads.
- Respond to Communications-related inquiries, and facilitate internal engagements. (Collaborate with regional Team to manage updates on regional Intranet.)
- Manage updates on successful branding initiatives from regional countries.
- Keeping track of communications-related activities and local initiatives by regional countries.
Requirements:
- Ideally 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in a communications role, preferably with exposure to Container Shipping or Forwarding/Logistics industries.
- Good work experience in MNC setup.
- Able to work independently, prioritize assignments and tasks, and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of G Suite Tools (Google Site, etc), MS Office Suite Tools and social media platforms (Facebook’s Workplace).
- Knowledge of desktop publishing software (InDesign/Photoshop).
- Familiar with the use of Adobe Spark and video editing tools (Canva, etc).
