Responsibilities:

  • Operations

o   Manage service point operations assigned.

o   Primary responsibility is for daily operations of these service points, including the Central Sterile Supplies Department, Dental Lab, X-ray unit and Pharmacy.

o   Undertake workflow improvement and projects for assigned service points.

o   Assist to oversee and troubleshoot IT issues in the clinic.

o   Responsible for ensuring that facilities are patient-friendly, safe, and clean.

o   Review and ensure that SOPs are updated timely.

o   Oversee equipment licensing and ensure that relevant licenses are applied and valid.

o   Oversee clinic risk and safety matters.

o   Work with other department managers to ensure a positive experience for patients along the continuum of care.

  • Staff Management

o   Manage non-clinical staff (Health Attendants, Dental Lab Technicians) to perform required duties at various service points.

o   Conduct appraisals for non-clinical staff jointly with Team Leaders.

o   Responsible for ensuring that non-clinical staff receive appropriate induction, orientation, and training so that they possess appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs.

o   Responsible for staff recruitment and retention to achieve a stable, skilled and motivated team.

  • Communication

o   Responsible for communication between staff and leadership of the hospital. He/ She should ensure timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues, recommendation and implementation of solutions to problems.

  • Others

o   Disseminate and implement hospital’s policies & procedures.

o   Ensure Policy & Procedures are current.

o   Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Analytical and with good communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Be computer literate in Microsoft Word / Excel.
  • Problem-based learning.
  • Positive, motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Has initiative and able to work independently.
  • Service-oriented and customer-focused
