6 Months Contract, Banking Environment

Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the overall Finance Team, reporting to the Country Manager of the Singapore Branch. 
• Driving the financial reporting function supporting internal/external financial and regulatory reports and accounting control within a consistent governance framework
• Ensure proper accounting application and lead implementation of new accounting standards, regulatory reporting guidance and requirements.
• Provide insightful financial performance advisory and highlight risks and opportunities to the senior management
• Ensure financial reporting and regulatory process complies with the internal control requirement and assess adequacy in the changing environment
• Ensure proactive management of controllable cost base.

Requirements:

• Degree in related discipline with professional accounting certification
• Minimum 8 years related experience in finance (banking industry)
• Exposed to financial accounting and reporting, business analysis, asset and capital management and change management
• Strong working knowledge of MAS reporting requirements is compulsory
