Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance activities and schedule planning for all system & transportation equipment
• Provide 24/7 support on Automation System trouble as and when needed.
• Maintain and ensure continuous improvement on automation systems.
• Provide trainings and guidance to technician or AEs on automation system
• Develop automation SOPs and job /recovery procedure
• Assist in any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor as and when necessary
• Follow up on all outstanding works or improvements missions with vendors to ensure system stability
• Liaise with team members, function teams or vendors on new projects about new automation requirement or system survey or any modifications improvement works.
• Cooperating with other function teams on relevant works/missions.
• Ensure all operation and maintenance works are carried out in safe manner.
• Assist in spare parts management including procurement and safety stock.
• Active participation in Total Productive Management (TPM) and collaboration with key stake holder from manufacturing.
• Accountable for on-the-job safety and health of contractor or vendors under direct supervision.
• Manage the Automation vendors and ensure that the requirement is delivered and maintained.
• Perform, coordinate project execution, test commissioning, validation coordination for small or medium scale projects
• Establish communication with MES for driving the process recipe and ensuring the related interfaces with automation systems are properly configured.
• Drive the commissioning and qualification effort of production equipment with associated to Automation.
• Participate in capital projects involving facilities, utilities, equipment and system integration in Automation aspect.
• Identify equipment failures, perform root cause analysis and recommending solution to technical issues.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / computer science Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in MES/Automation team
• Experience in Automated Manufacturing Environment will be an added advantage
• Experience in coordination on machine setup, System UAT and modification work
• Familiar with SQL, VBA, Tableau & Program Logic Control (PLC) Software
• Knowledge in .NET, node red & Visual studio will be added advantage
