Network Administrator (1-year contract, renewable)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote-access VPNs on network products
• Manage and administer Network Firewalls & IPS
• Configure, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services
• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems; Perform network health monitoring and capacity planning
• Managing existing and deploying new networks configurations, including routers, firewalls, load balancers & switches
• Provide Tier 2 and 3 supports for internal and external customers
• Updating the latest Firmware’s & security patches to the Network equipment’s and documentations on IT inventory and processes

Requirement

• Previous working experience as a Network Engineer for minimum 4 years
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standads, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, DNS, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP & VLAN
• Must be proficient in using network analyser/sniffing tools such as Sniffer, Wireshark and Ethereal for troubleshooting network issues
• Must have good understanding of network technologies like advanced IP Routing, Switching and Wireless network
• Hands on experience with equipment from Checkpoint, Fortinet and Cisco
