Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support to the business operations through review of contracts covering a variety of areas, and across South-East Asia.
• Provide compliance support to the business operations throughout South-East Asia, by preparing compliance policies and compliance training materials, to raise awareness of various compliance areas.
• Assist in advising the management and other internal stakeholders from the legal and compliance perspective on a wide variety of operational issues, contract-related matters, and compliance matters throughout South-East Asia.
• Review of contracts/documentation relating to supply chain management from a legal and compliance perspective.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law (NUS or SMU) and qualified to practice law in Singapore (admitted to the Singapore bar)
• At least 1 year of post-qualification experience working for a Singapore law firm.
• Experience in general corporate law would be ideal, but candidates with experience in other relevant areas of law would be considered, including litigation and/or restructuring and insolvency.
• Good understanding of corporate law and contract law, while at the same time able to provide commercially-sound advice.
• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, organized, and resourceful team player.
• Highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision.
