IT Project Manager (Permanent, Changi, Financial industry)
Responsibilities
Work closely with Project Lead, Owner or Sponsor to drive strategic or major initiatives as part of the organization’s roadmap and strategy
Manage relationships across all departments, partners including external parties (vendor and/or outsource partners), defining requirements, agreeing terms, and ensuring delivery in accordance to agreed timeline
Manage the project to attain the project goals and achieve stakeholder’s satisfaction
Delivery of projects with agreed parameters, i.e., cost, scope, schedule, and outcome, and they are baselined and traceable, take appropriate corrective action to ensure delivery remains on track
Assist with the management of resources (people, budget, technological) to ensure delivery of the complete program of work to the organization
Plan and manage internal and external project resources (vendor and/or outsource partners) to ensure delivery of project outputs within agreed parameters
Requirements
Degree from any recognized University with at least 3 years of project management and in handling middleware applications in large organization
Solid experience in financial industry
Must have strong systems engineering skills in Middleware technology
Experience in Configuration Management tool such as Ansible, Puppet
Knowledge of IT security, Risk Management and Security Controls
Strong technical proficiency in managing both Development & Architecture Design related to IBM IIB, MQ, IBM API Gateway, WebSphere, IIS, Apache, JBoss
Project Management certifications like PMP and Prince2 will be an advantage
