Responsibilities:
- Sales & Marketing / Trading function for downstream chemical commodities assigned, such as solvents and PU raw materials.
- Work closely and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sense of ownership, work well independently and within a team in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Conduct and execute business transactions that are aligned with the company’s strategy, risk management and guidelines.
- Work with team members to ensure clear flow of information and communication.
- Communicating with both managers and shipping coordinators. Also required to closely communicate with Tokyo HQ, BKK, Manila, Mumbai, Dubai office.
- Support existing commercial / operational activities and under the instruction of Deputy GM.
- Support communication with suppliers and building up good and smooth relationships.
- coordinate internal office for business processes to comply with internal rules.
- Create new business under the instruction of Deputy GM.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Business with focus on Commodities
- Keen interest and knowledge on Chemical or Commodities markets.
- Able to adapt to fast paced work processes and communications.
- Results driven with keen awareness of time sensitive nature of the business.
- Business discussions, communications and cover operations reasonably beyond office hours due to time zone differences.
- Good communication skills, able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 2-3 Years of trading experience (familiar with credit line, in-co terms, etc).
- Experienced in working within matrix organizational structure, preferred.
