Responsibilities
- Perform interpretation and translation work in Arabic and Chinese, which includes but is not limited to providing interpretation services for the company's business activities and meetings, as well as translating written documents.
- Provide translation services for company executives during business activities and meetings with international business partners, including simultaneous interpretation between Arabic and Chinese when required.
- Assist in preparing materials for business activities, such as drafting meeting summaries.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years or more of professional interpretation and translation experience.
- Highly proficient in Arabic and Chinese.
- Willing to undertake business travel as needed for the job.
- Ability to perform simultaneous interpretation, switching between Arabic and Chinese in real-time for effective information conveyance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interpretation and translation skills in Arabic and Chinese.
- Passion for translation work, a positive attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint / Word / Excel).
