Job Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
- Review, develop and implement department-specific (business development and patient services) operational policies to ensure they are effective, relevant and aligned to organizational policies/objectives and market needs.
- Lead, manage, coach and motivate a team to ensure effective, efficient and professional delivery of department plans, programmes, processes and service competitiveness.
- Review service processes to improve overall key performance indicators in the areas of total patient experience, operational efficiency and optimal resource utilization.
- Work closely with relevant departments on special projects, workgroups or committees to resolve intra-department conflicts, initiate and propose options where possible and see through the implementation to ensure desired outcomes are achieved for operational or patient services issues.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
- Plan and monitor department resources and utilization in terms of manpower and budget.
- Review and prepare periodic operational and budget reports.
- Identify learning needs of department with due actualization of suitable training plans.
- Lead departmental QEHS initiatives and/or participate in cross-departmental projects.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Key Requirements
- Recognized degree with relevant working experience at managerial level.
- Meticulous and analytical, possess excellent organizational and coordination skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to exercise initiative, manage pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit excellent leadership and team management qualities.
