Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of the latest purchasing needs and after-sales customer requirements in the power plant equipment and service sector.
- Identify and analyze target markets, both in terms of customers and products.
- Prepare and submit proposals and invoices to customers.
- Negotiate and provide assistance in the sales process.
- Maintain records of sales and services, including customer interactions and feedback.
- Prepare and deliver service presentations to prospective customers, effectively translating technical information into understandable terms.
- Act as a liaison between the client and the company, ensuring a smooth communication channel between technical teams and customers.
- Monitor, coordinate, and report on project status and the status of delivered products and services.
- Provide assistance to customers facing issues or failures after the installation or during the use of products and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
- Proven experience in technical sales or a related field, especially in the power plant equipment and service industry.
- Strong knowledge of power plant equipment and technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel and support clients in the Singapore and Malaysia markets, as well as across the Asia-Pacific region.
