Responsibilities:
- Work with the Assistant Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies for new market sales / new project (e.g. EPC).
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to procure materials and services required for new projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement activities and project requirements.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the existing team to ensure smooth coordination between aftermarket and new sales procurement efforts.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience in a similar industry.
- Previous experience in procurement for new market sales and EPC projects is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful procurement.
- Experience working with renowned multinational corporations.
- Notable achievements in previous procurement roles, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and dynamic, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
