IT Project Manager (6-month contract under agency)
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head of IT to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage and oversee external vendors responsible for project execution; Coordinate project meetings with external vendors, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
Monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
Maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and change requests.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements; Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT solutions.
May require flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate project deployment and testing during non-office hours.
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in IT project management and business analysis.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira can aid in project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
Fundamental understanding of IT concepts and terminology is important.
Proficiency in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for IT projects.
Basic understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) and the ability to write basic SQL queries.
Understanding of quality assurance and testing principles, including creating and executing test plans.
Awareness of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud will be an advantage
