Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Senior Executive (Management Accounting/Variance Analysis/Yield)".

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

• Be responsible for the preparation of management accounts, yearly budgets, analysis of monthly performance and variances against budget and past month's results. 
• Assist the manager in guiding team members (where applicable) and various ad hoc projects e.g process improvement etc
• Reporting, forecasting and analysis of profitability of various liner services
• Support annual budgeting exercise, variance analysis and Yield/KPIs tracking
• Identify Yield/KPIs and work closely with trade teams to achieve and excel in Yield/KPIs
• Perform variance analysis of proforma against the budget results and investigate the underlying reasons for the variance.

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree in Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Open to entry level graduates in relevant studies (For a more junior level)
• Proficient in Microsoft excel
• Ability to work with voluminous data
• Experienced in system migration
• Preferably with Shipping experience but not a pre-requisite
