Participate actively in EHSS activities (E.g. H&S Training, Concern Reporting, Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) Review, correction of EHS hazards and unsafe conditions)
Maintain housekeeping in work area and ensure compliance of site safety regulations to prevent accidents
Ensure compliance of company EHS & Security policies & local EHS Legislations.
Keep track of spare part and inventory usage to maintain spare part / inventory control
Involve in improvement projects implementation.
Support Mechanical and/or Electrical Team in repair work when necessary
Troubleshooting & repair, redesign and improve the equipment for better capability and performance
Perform scheduled periodic maintenance on equipment
Work closely with and support the production team
Execute Reliability Index Tasks
Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis and ensure action follow-up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns
Requirements:
Min. NITEC, Technical certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Min. 2 years’ relevant hands-on maintenance experience in chemical, preferably Plastic Industry.
Able to perform rotating shift work including weekends and public holidays
Good knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic and other control systems and understanding in operations of Plant Facility system and equipment (eg. SCADA, Air Compressor, Air dryer, Cooling Tower, Dust Collector and Central Vacuum System, centrifugal pump)
Demonstrate good trouble shooting and analytical skills Independently with minimum assistance.
Dismantle equipment for repair and service.
Assemble/install equipment after repair and service.
Good communication skills.
