Responsibilities

·       Identifying and recommending best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.

·       Assess the company’s HSSE Management System to identify any deviation, weakness or significant change in organization, risk control measures and provide recommendation for improvement.

·       Conduct or coordinate In-House Training Program, Safety Promotions or other safety-related activities for all Staff.

·       Perform safety audits and inspection and to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.

·       Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures.

·       Assist in maintaining certifications such as ISO, Bizsafe certificates.

·       Conduct weekly 5S inspection and prepare reports.

·       Update and manage all Risk Assessment documentation.

·       Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

·       Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in safety within a manufacturing environment.

·       Relevant and related Diploma.  

·       Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment).
