Manages the overall production operation, ensure all activities are carried out in a safe, compliant and efficient manner, meeting all quality requirements.
Support and execute Maintenance, TAR and project activities.
Lead, mentor and develop the team leaders.
Support training of all team members.
Foster continuous improvement process (CIP) to optimize plant and administrative processes in all relevant areas.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
Min. 10 years experience in chemical or petrochemical production.
Ability to plan and coordinate production and shift personnel.
Proficient in root cause analysis tools (fishbone, ABC, etc).
Open minded towards team concept.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Safety and Environmental requirements .
Soft Skills such as: listening skills, body language, giving feedback, conflict management, delegation, understanding organizational culture and subculture, emotional intelligence, and ethical leadership.
Basic chemical, fire and medical response skills.
