Support to manage and supervise R&D activities in conducting validation, evaluation, characterization of media, media process and related components compliance and design margin.
Develop surface analysis technique to validate compliance to design and reliability margin to requirements.
Publish and review evaluation and failure analysis result conducted by engineering assistants.
Coordinate with process owners, evaluation team members on surface analysis result and work with them on assessment on improvement activities.
Coordinate with external lab for surface analysis capabilities when not available internally and benchmark other analysis technique if possible.
Manage surface analysis lab equipment’s and coordinate with vendor for repair and maintenance activities.
Involve in the Backend process development activities, hardware modification and improvement.
Undertake improvement project to resolve technical challenges encountered during new product stage and manufacturing stage.
Ensure smooth transfer of process setting from R&D team to the manufacturing team.
Ensure compliance to ISO quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Material Science/Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics fields.
Possess experience in the R&D scopes in high-volume manufacturing industry.
Good to have knowledge in the Chemistry evaluation techniques, lubricant development, or nanotribology.
Skills in process improvement, Minitab, Microsoft Excel.
Able to work in the cleanroom environment, a team player, and result-oriented person.
