Lab Chemist (1-year Contract)
Our client is the renowned manufacturer and supplier of medical products in Singapore. They are committed to enhance the quality of life through constant product innovation and quality enhancement.
Responsibilities:
- To perform analysis of lab samples from in-coming, in-process and finished products.
- To ensure all lab equipment are properly maintained according to requirements.
- To comply and adhere with stringent laboratory safety requirements and quality control procedures.
- To assist in preparation of lab reagents and ensure proper lab inventory management.
- To support lab investigations, CAPA, audits, 5S and product development projects.
- To review and maintain laboratory reports and documents.
- To assist in method validations and instrument qualifications.
Requirements:
- Degree in Applied Chemistry, Material Science, Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in performing Gas Chromatograph (GC), Wet Chemistry, UV-Vis, and Polarimeter.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Control (GDP).
- Good knowledge of Pharmacopoeia (USP / EP / BP), ISO standards and requirements.
- Experienced in using analytical lab software (SQC/ SPC).
- Hands-on experience in performing lab investigations, audits, and product development.
- Knowledge of lab inventory management, instrument maintenance, 5S and chemical safety requirements.
