ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) aims to engage and support journalists and media organizations around the globe to effectively produce and promote environmental and climate news and content. This part-time position supports EJN with a wide variety of tasks including social media and outreach, research, and helping to manage limited-time and special projects.
Internews has US offices in California and Washington, DC which support a hybrid workforce with staff working remotely, fully in-office or partially remote. Ultimately this position may work remotely from the US, partially remote from our Washington, DC office, or fully in-office for candidates based I the DC area. You must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship from Internews.
This is a part-time position anticipated to start in December 2021 or January 2022 and last for an estimated 10 months with the possibility of an extension. Past employees in this position have on occasion moved into full-time jobs with Internews, contingent upon the availability of grant funding.
This position has a closing date of December 6, 2021.
