Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Light Vehicle Mechanic with Upskill Opportunity

We are seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or a Light Vehicle Mechanic who wants to be upskilled to a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.

Be part of the day-to-day maintenance of Wagners fleet of equipment including highway trucks, light vehicles, trailers, fixed and plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Completing service and maintenance requirements
• Ensuring timely repair of faults
• Attending breakdowns and emergency situations
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions and steering mechanisms
• Understand NHVAS requirements
• Complete all required paperwork 
• Assemble all heavy vehicles and mobile equipment

Skills and Experience / Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical
• Upskill to become a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic 
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar industry
• Knowledge of basic Electronic Fault Diagnostic Equipment
• C class driver's licence (HR or higher highly desirable)
